THE ASTONISHING "FLOWING" PROFILE

A flowing river and meet the sea.
Taken before sunrise

Oh no! It is a fresh water swimming pool and a little further is an open sea.
Taken at 9.00 am
One can admire an idea of combining a nature and cultural landscape

The similar scenery at 10.00 am

Also similar but at different angle, but nearer,
islands in the fore ground

Connecting the sea?
You can notice several islands in the fore ground

At last, the swimming pool and the sea,
obviously separated by sand ridge.

Location: Sutera Beach Resort, Rhu Tapai, Setiu, Terengganu
Taken on the 3rd of July 2010, the date and location chosen by

GEOMORPHOLOGICAL FINDINGS: THE CONGLOMERATE

Myself and spouse on the hill slope with the cliff in the background

Another interesting background

Align CenterThe shallow cave and the sand.
The end features of an intensive wave erosion and deposition.
During high tide the cave will be filled with sea water.

An isolated rock.
Have a close look at the different types of rock combine to form the larger one.

Isolated rocks appear during low tide and then disappear during high tide.
On the right is a cliff.
Far in the foreground is the deserted island, Pulau Rhu.

Another interesting feature as a result of an intensive wave erosion, the sea arch.

Notice the vertical line, reveals that the rock containing iron

The wall close up.
Result of sedimentation and erosion

Align CenterStones. pebbles and sand of various colour, size and shapes cemented(combined) to form an interesting conglomerate rock
Bold

Location: Bukit Keluang, Besut, Terengganu

The location is an ideal destination for holidays, family gathering, camping, outward bounds and nature lovers . Only an hour by road from Kota Bharu. To stay overnight, a resort is just a stone throw away. As a Geography teacher and interested in Morphology, the presence of an isolated hill with interesting rocks formation and features recall my interest to share.

On that very day, a photography session involving two newly wed couples in special attires struck my idea to have the same too.

THE LEADERSHIP COURSE

16-18 June 2009, Peladang Setiu Agro Resort witnessed the above programme and perhaps unforgetable dates to some participants. Approximately 100 school leaders of SMK PAK BADOL comprising Prefects and "Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya" participated under a close teachers and the resort's trained personel supervision. The programme included lectures, motivation, religious rites and physical activities. I had participated in a jungle trekking activity and found it so tiring but interesting especially to feast my eyes upon lush tropical forest, to discover its wonder and mystery.

SUNSET AT BATU FERINGGI

25th Mei - 28th Mei 2009 I participated in the 48th National Conference on Education Management for Malaysian Secondary School Principal which was held in Bayview Beach Resort, Batu Feringgi, Penang. "Outstanding Leaders Create Excellent Schools" or Pemimpin Unggul Membina Sekolah Cemerlang" was chosen as the theme. The Conference was inaugurated by The Deputy Prime Minister, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who is also a Minister of Education. Approximately 550 principals all over the country attended the conference. As a host, PKPSM P. Pinang had thrown everything to ensure that the conference ran smoothly. The conference coincided with the Second Conference of the ASEAN School Principals. They were at the launching ceremony, joined our dinner later and show their talent on stage as well.

I was given a luxurious room facing the open sea( Andaman Sea) and took the opportunity to fascinate and sharing an astoundingly beautiful evening scenery. SUNGGUH INDAH KEJADIAN ALLAH. Below are photos I managed to snap while relaxing at the balcony waiting for Maghrib time

The photos from the top to the bottom:

Below: 7.00 pm
Second bottom: 7.15 pm
