PKPSM'S KINDNESS AND KINDS

PKPSM."Your kindness is unforgettable and your kinds is uncountable", the most suitable phrase to describe.

I attached myself to PKPSM by the moment as a school's principal on the 1st Jan. 2000. Since the date until my retirement I have received everything worth that could not be forgotten in form of knowledge, appreciation, hospitality, charity, incentive and kinds. The photos display my collections received. Until at present those things are in good condition and still in use. This shows that PKPSM contributes almost everything that a professional needs and guarantee the quality.

In fact, all principals benefit it throughout the year. Professional inputs in hotels and sometimes abroad. I could remember we had our inputs and meetings in Hatyai, Thailand and Medan, Indonesia. A forth night ago we had our meeting in Kuala Lumpur, reach there and back home by air.

Subsidizing an excursion gives opportunity for us to spend our leisure abroad. A stun moment for pensioners, in disbelieve receiving a cheque worth RM6000.00 to perform umrah. There are much more and unexplainable. In return, your undivided loyalty and firm support are greatly appreciated

The contributions in kinds are Batik shirts, a T shirt, luggage bags, blazers, a watch, a Lamy fountain pen, a set of teak tea set and lastly " a pendulum clock". This clock reminds me once in every hour the kindness of PKPSM and an appreciation as a Secretary for years.

Thank you.

PKPSM KELANTAN THE LANDMARKS

THE WISMA PKPSM KELANTAN

The idea of owning a secretariat burst out since 1995. Agreed by the Kelantan Education Department, a committee was organized to proceed the matter. The School Complex, Wakaf Mek Zainab, Kota Bharu was chosen as a site. The tender was then issued on Mei 1999 and followed by the construction work seven months later.

The RM 218,000.00 building completed on July 2000 and was officially inaugurated by the Director General of Education of Malaysia, YBhg Datuk Hj. Rafei bin Mahat on October 2000. Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) was also signed on that particular month and year.

The building comprises dormitories, a hall and a conferencence room. As a matter of appreciation to the State Education Department, part of the building is granted to the Kelantan School Sport Council(MSSK) to develop sport activities and other social functions but priority must be given to PKPSM.

It can be clearly seen from Jalan Long Yunus, hardly a couple of kilometre from the heartof the capital city, Kota Bharu the Islamic City and only a stone throw from neighbouring schools, SMK Kota Bharu, SMK Puteri, SMK Ismail Petra and SMK Putera.

Kunming: Ashima, Che Mat and The Tea

We stopped at a tea processing plant, a compulsory place to visit. After being briefed the origin, types and wonders of tea by a charming "Ashima"- exclusively refers to a lass, we were persuaded to purchase it. How much it cost? A package costs 500 yuen(appr RM 250.) My friend, Che Mat(in black suit) earlier refused to buy. After being persuaded and astonished by the beauty of the Ashima, at last he surrendered and unwillingly emptied his wallet and grief. "Ah! Comel weh budak ni takleh tehe kawe weh!." Hai Che Mat tak tehe jugok mu dengan orang comel dih. The "Ashima" is on my right with tea containers in her left arm. Is she pretty? She reveals that she is from the Sani Nationality of the Stone Forest. Sani girls and young women are known for their beauty, hard working and intelligent.
A fortnight later I met Che Mat and asked about the tea. "Still in the container, just waste my money, tak apa lah budak comel punya fasal," he replied.

Kunming Excursion: The Contrast

Last April in the year 2008 PKPSM Kelantan organized an excursion to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province, China. The local temperature is cool and soothing throughout the day but don't forget to use lipstick gloss or your lips might crack, so irritating. The photo
shows myself in the middle. On my right is Hjh Normah and on my left is Hjh Hanipah wearing a traditional costumes of a Sani tribe. The Sani dominates the area, the famous Stone Forest. The costume suits Hjh Normah but not Hjh Hanipah because of their facial feature and complexion.

A journey from Kunming to Stone Forest was so exhausted and bored. I kept the journey alive by making a strange offer. Anyone who could find pregnant women will be rewarded 10 yuen(appr RM5.00) for each because after few days I did not come across even a single pregnant woman. So they kept on eying for it. At last, I had to keep my words, withdrawing 20 yuen for exactly pointing 2 pregnant women. 10 yuen for Hjh Hanipah and another 10 for Hjh Kamaliah but they keep on demanding for more. Just for fun! Heeee.

Pengetuanya berpakaian kebangsaan manakala saya no. 4 dari kanan. Please double click to enlarge.

A visit to SMK Pulau Gaya

A visit to SMK Pulau Gaya was so interesting, sekolah di atas air, the school on the sea surface.
The photo shows myself in the middle, sandwiched by Hj. Fauzi, the principal of SMK Mulong on my right and Hjh Hamidah, the principal of SMK Hamzah 2, Machang on my left.
The open hall 100% made of wood.

After visiting the school, our next destination was the Handicraft Centre or better known as "Pasar Filipin" by the locals. Most of the products were from the Southern Philipines such as beads, crystals, dried seafoods and handicraft products.
After nightfall, we feasted over roasted fish and squids.
